It features extremely high wear resistance, good hardenability and dimensional stability, and is widely used in the manufacture of molds and tools with high requirements for impact resistance and friction loss.It is usually supplied in annealed state, which is convenient for mechanical processing. After heat treatment, it can achieve high hardness (about 58 to 62 HRC), making it a very cost-effective material choice in the field of cold working dies.
