The international approximate/corresponding grades of 3Cr17 Tool Steel include DIN 1.2085 (a common counterpart) and JIS SUS420F (or similar to the 420-series martensitic stainless steels).Common similar designations: 3Cr17, 3Cr17+S (sulfur-containing free-cutting grade).These correspondences are functional approximations, not identical in terms of chemical composition and manufacturing processes.
