This steel features excellent hardenability, red hardness and thermal fatigue resistance, and is particularly suitable for environments with complex thermal loads, which can effectively enhance the service life and mold accuracy.

1.2360 Tool Steel:Heat treatment suggestions

  1. Annealing (softened state) : Heat to 730-780 °C, furnace cooling ≤ 229 HB
  2. Stress relief: Temper at 600-650 °C for stress release after finishing
  3. Quenching: Heat to 1030-1080 °C → oil cooling/gas cooling, etc
  4. Tempering: 500-550 °C (multiple times) to optimize the balance between toughness and hardness
